Thanks to all who joined us this summer at the Indigenous Peoples' Park Playground information meeting in August! Based on community feedback, there was overwhelming support for removing the sand at the playground and adding new ADA accessibility features. The lime green and aqua blue color design shown above was the winning option selected by the public. The playground will be closed for demolition and construction in October 2020, and will likely reopen in spring 2021.
